Prasanna Ranatunga has opted out of the general election after having signed nomination papers for Gampaha.
He was to be the New Democratic Front’s district leader.
Ruwan Wijewardena has reversed his decision against contesting and signed nomination papers to be a candidate for Gampaha.
He will be the district leader of the NDF with the ‘gas cylinder’ symbol.
