\The Jathika Jana Balawegaya (JJB) says the country can come out of the present crisis if the government, private sector, farmers, expatriates and all other citizens get together and make a united effort for two to three years.
JJB leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake said during the parliamentary debate on the interim budget 2022 that if that is to be done, a government with a people’s mandate should be formed.
He went onto say the incumbent president Ranil Wickremesinghe was not only chosen by the people, but was also elected by a people’s mandate that was against him.
Even the interim budget for this year goes against the people’s mandate, he added.
