Victims of a carnage by Indian peacekeepers at Jaffna Hospital 35 years ago have been remembered.
The month of October in 1987 saw a series of killings by the IPKF, including the one at the hospital.
Soldiers led by Lt. Gen. Dipendra Singh gunned down 47 patients and 21 staff, including three doctors and three nurses.
They were remembered at a weekend event at the Jaffna Hospital.
