The SJB has unveiled an enhanced economic blueprint for the country.
Its MP Dr. Harsha de Silva, who presented the original document to the House on August 12 last year, addressed the unveiling of an improved version inclusive of 10 key points on February 14 at Hotel Hilton in Colombo.
Speaking here, de Silva stressed the need for reforms, especially on the economic front, to tackle the current crisis.
Strengthening ties with the international community, drawing investment and enhancing entrepreneurship at all levels were also highlighted on the occasion.
The SJB focused on a model that encourages investment and economic activity at all levels, he said.
It prioritizes the need to fast-track the formulation of a policy environment that can afford SMEs and entrepreneurs access to finance and global markets.
Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa, MPs Eran Wickremaratne, Kabir Hashim and Harshana Rajakaruna also participated.
