The Supreme Court has fixed four dates to take up an appeal filed by the attorney general against the acquittal of Hemasiri Fernando and Pujith Jayasundara from the Easter Sunday terror attacks case.
A Colombo high court cleared the former defence secretary and the ex-IGP from 855 counts over the failure to prevent the attacks despite being forewarned.
A five-member SC bench decided to hear the appeal against the ruling on July 04, 05, 11 and 12.
