The father of Nadun Chinthaka Wickramaratne alias ‘Harak Kata’ has urged Interpol to mediate for the safety of his son, who had been deported home on a red notice issued by the international police organization.
Writing to Interpol, based in Lyon, France, Nelson Mervin Wickramaratne asked for necessary measures in its power to prevent his son from being extra judicially killed and/or be subjected to torture and other degrading treatment while in police or prison custody.
Meanwhile, Neth News has asked the father of Salindu Madushka, who was arrested along with Wickramaratne in Madagascar and deported home, as to how his son has come to be known as ‘Kudu Salindu’.
