Britain’s Channel 4 television is to reveal shocking details about the Easter Sunday terror attacks in Sri Lanka in a documentary to be shown on 05 September.
‘Sri Lanka’s Easter Bombings – Dispatches’ was originally to be presented on 15 August, but was put off due to certain technical issues.
The video is said to contain revelations about the bombings by a whistleblower - Asad Moulana, who was the media secretary to TMVP leader and state minister Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan alias Pillayan.
According to foreign media, it implicates ex-president Gotabaya Rajapaksa, the attorney general, state intelligence chief Maj. Gen. Suresh Salley and several other top government figures.
The documentary has received wide publicity in advance.
A fortnight ago, the Leader TV reported that Channel 4 is due to telecast a documentary on the Easter Sunday terror attacks.
