A dialogue among the young legal fraternity and the public about new laws and reforms is to be launched today (03).
Organized by the Presidential Secretariat, ‘What’s New’ will also be an opportunity for young and budding lawyers to make their contributions towards legal reforms.
Its launch by president Ranil Wickremesinghe in the presence of more than 300 young lawyers takes place at the BMICH.
Attorney general Sanjay Rajaratnam and president’s counsel Eraj de Silva will deliver lectures.
On the occasion, a digital app for submitting related proposals will be unveiled as well.
The ‘What’s New’ initiative is being spearheaded by the Presidential Director of Youth Affairs and Sustainable Development Randhula Abeyweera.
