The AstraZeneca vaccines that had been recalled recently after having shown various side-effects were received by 24 August 2021.
According to a state intelligence report, it says a total of 2,865,424 doses had been recollected.
The report says 1,335,262 AstraZeneca doses had been used under the covid-19 vaccination programme between 29 January and 22 April of 2021.
Also, 880,017 second doses had been used from 23 April 2021.
A majority of the population was vaccinated with Sinopharm, with 15,700,000 doses used.
By 24 August, 2021, two doses each per person to be on par with the WHO-recommended levels had been used.
