Political activist Sugeeswara Bandara has said that a country could overcome if experienced leaders are at the helm.
A country cannot collapse merely because it gets into debt, he said.
Credits advantageous to the country have to be obtained and invested on productive projects to raise the GDP, said Bandara.
Global economic experts were surprized by the resurgence of the Sri Lankan economy hit by the coronavirus pandemic, according to him.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe has brought good news for a country whose downfall had been reversed from 2022, with the revival of tourism, agriculture, technical and services sectors.
That was the good message to the country, he said, and urged all to be a strength to the journey to make an undefeated motherland.
