President Ranil Wickremesinghe will still have a place in the Sri lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) if he aligns with its policies, said its MP Tissa Kuttiarachchi.
He said today (30) that Dhammika Perera could be that most fortunate candidate if his business policies match the economic policies of the SLPP.
He predicted a win for the SLPP candidate at the presidential polls.
No official decision has been taken against the party activists who now side with Wickremesinghe, he said.
Kuttiarachchi added that the SLPP had faith in its vote base, adding that between 3.5 and four million votes would be enough to win.
