Going by what takes place now, assaulting MPs and setting fire to their homes are only fair, said Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna national organizer Namal Rajapaksa.
He was speaking to the media at the party head office at Battaramulla yesterday (31).
Rajapaksa said the incorrect opinion about politicians is confirmed by the behaviour of some of them.
That’s why all the 225 MPs get rejected by the people, he added.
The MP added that the SLPP was strong as a party and that once the election campaign is set in motion, the extent of support could be seen clearly.
