The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna's (SLPP) decision to field its own presidential candidate has not changed, and is not challenged so far either, its politburo member Milinda Rajapaksha said.
Speaking to the media at the Battaramulla head office of the party today (02), he said any change in the decision should require yet another politburo meeting and a vote taken.
Also, there is no indication of general secretary Sagara Kariyawasam getting removed from the position, said Rajapaksha.
If his position is to be changed, the decision is up to the executive committee, he said.
