The SLPP’s district leader for Kegalle, state minister Kanaka Herath, and 18 former members of Rambukkana Pradeshiya Sabha,
have decided to support incumbent Ranil Wickremesinghe at the presidential polls.
Herath made the decision known at a media briefing yesterday (02).
The LG members, who spoke on the occasion, said the SLPP leadership has failed to comprehend the ground reality.
