Three top figures of political parties have extended support to president Ranil Wickremesinghe.
They are the SJB’s Jaffna district organizer Victor Stanley, SLMC’s propaganda secretary U.L.M.N. Mukheen and Sri TELO leader Parajasingham Udayarasa.
Lankadeepa.lk quoted Stanley as saying that waves of popularity being created by various parties shouldn’t be pursued, and that an era of queues is not needed again.
People can no longer be deceived by election promises, he said.
Udayarasa said Sajith Premadasa had failed as a minister and couldn’t finish any of the housing projects he had launched in his district.
