Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has reported a net surplus of Rs. 6.3 billion, the highest ever for a financial year in the history of the local cricket’s governing body.
SLC recorded a total income of Rs. 17.5 billion, which was a 120% over its 2021 revenue.
The revenue was generated from four revenue segments - international cricket, domestic cricket, sponsorship contracts and ICC annual member disbursements.
The audited financial statements of SLC had been approved by the membership, SLC said.
It added the National Audit Office, in its Auditors Report, had issued an unqualified opinion on SLC's financial statements.
