Sports minister Roshan Ranasinghe has recognized the new football constitution adopted by its general council last year.
Accordingly, he has appointed a three-member committee to carry out the administrative and other activities of the Football Federation of Sri Lanka.
It is headed by A.G.C. Deshapriya and N.K. Kapurubandara will serve as the secretary and K.A.R.C. Kahandawala as its treasurer.
The committee will also convene and conduct elections, said a gazette extraordinary issued on 24 July.
It said the FFSL office-bearers will be elected for a four year term.
The post of general secretary/CEO will be made by appointment.
A new executive committee will be elected in terms of the FFSL constitution adopted on 22 September 2022, it added.
