Sri Lanka captain Kusal Mendis says he does not believe a change in coaches is needed merely because of the loss of a game.
When the team was winning, no such issues were in existence, he told the media in New Delhi yesterday (05).
He declined to comment on the matter of coaches, saying it was something out of his control.
Despite a loss in the World Cup, the team cannot be considered weak, Mendis said, adding that they hoped to go forward as one with the intention of becoming a winning team at the next World Cup.
Sri Lanka meets Bangladesh later today in another game of the ongoing World Cup in India.
