Sri Lankans are increasingly at risk of getting breast cancer, warns the National Cancer Prevention Programme.
An estimated 4,500 women and 1,000 men with cancer in the breast are diagnosed each year.
Early diagnosis is at a very low level, the Programme’s Dr. Saddarma Weerakoon has told BBC Sinhala Service.
